FAQ

EigenYields is an EigenLayer operator that puts idle restaked capital to work. When you delegate your liquid staking tokens to EigenYields through EigenLayer, your assets are allocated into non-custodial yield vaults that generate returns through established DeFi protocols like Aave and Lido.

After your restaked assets are allocated to a vault, you can claim your receipt tokens through EigenLayer’s rewards mechanism at eigenyields.xyz/claim-rewards or through the EigenLayer app. See the claiming guide for details.

Redemption is a two-step process: first you queue your redemption by submitting a requestUnallocate transaction, then after settlement you complete the withdrawal with completeUnallocate. See the redemption guide for the full walkthrough.

Yield comes from the base staking return of the underlying LST plus a leveraged DeFi spread captured by deploying capital into lending markets. Returns vary based on market conditions, utilization rates, and the specific vault strategy. You can view current performance on each vault’s detail page at eigenyields.xyz/vaults.

EigenYields vaults are non-custodial smart contracts with multiple safeguards including a Guardian pause mechanism, timelocked parameter changes, and conservative liquidation buffers on Aave. However, all DeFi protocols carry inherent risks. See the Risks page for a comprehensive overview.

Yes. Receipt tokens are standard ERC-20 tokens and are fully transferable. You can send them to another wallet, hold them in a multisig, or use them in other protocols. Whoever holds the receipt tokens owns the corresponding vault shares. For more detail, see Receipt Tokens.

Each vault charges a management fee and a performance fee. Fee details and rates are covered on the Fees page.
