Receipt Tokens
Receipt tokens are standard ERC-20 tokens that represent your proportional ownership of an EigenYields vault’s assets. Each vault has its own receipt token.
Value Accrual
Section titled “Value Accrual”Your receipt tokens are redeemable for the underlying LST based on the current price per share (PPS). As the vault generates yield, PPS increases, meaning each receipt token becomes worth more of the underlying LST over time.
Example: If you hold 100 receipt tokens and the PPS is 1.050000, your tokens are redeemable for 105 of the underlying LST (100 x 1.05).
Transferability
Section titled “Transferability”Receipt tokens are fully transferable. You can send them to another wallet, use them in other protocols, or hold them in a multisig. Whoever holds the receipt tokens owns the corresponding share of the vault.
